How to Get an E-Driving License?
The Twitter handle of Lahore City Traffic Police has shared the simple procedure to get an e-license. You just have to go to the Punjab DLIMS website, go to the e-license page, and simply enter your CNIC number and Date of Birth. After entering this information, your driver’s license will appear digitally; you can save it on your phone and simply show it to the traffic warden when asked.
The traffic warden will scan it through a QR code and verify it. The whole process is simple and would end the hassle of keeping a physical copy with you.
According to police officials, now every driving license is an e-license, and the citizens can show these two traffic wardens to avoid challans. This initiative would make the process of checking driving licenses short and smooth and help the drivers who have forgotten their licenses or haven’t received them from the government.
